Language notes week 4-5

很高興能有機會和大家互相切磋討論求進步，:我從 Rainbow 幫大家改的第五六週句子中，挑出幾個地方做以下相關解釋，大家有問題請踴躍提出，幫自己解惑也幫別人學習

1.MS word可以幫忙檢查拼字錯誤、簡單的文法錯誤，如：My friends is passionate. 如果把這個句子打在word，is下面應該會出現綠線提示。但是有些拼字錯誤很湊巧的就不會被偵測出來，例如my ant Amy→我的螞蟻Amy？應該是my aunt Amy才對。to be blank, blank是空白，應該是frank，誠實才對


2.萬丈高樓平地起：基礎是最簡單同時最重要的東西。
中文和英文的基本構造都是S+V+O(主詞+動詞+受詞，不一定要有受詞)。

e.g. I win. He left. 都是只有主詞和動詞就構成句子了 

英文一個句子只能有一個動詞，多於一個動詞必須有連接詞(conjunction)或是關係代名詞(who, which, when, where)連接。 

原句：I'm from Taichung, I love the weather in Taichung 

修改後：I'm from Taichung, and I love the weather in Taichung.

提醒：正式文章如論文不要寫I'm，部落格這樣寫則無妨 

數量和時態配合大家大概都聽到耳朵長繭了可是還是會犯錯，只能再三閱讀減少錯誤。

原句：
There are several famous building around the sqare, including Kremlin, Saint Basil's Cathedral, and GUM department store, National Museum of History and so on. 

  

修改後：

  There are several famous buildings around the square, including Kremlin, Saint Basil's Cathedral, and GUM department store and National Museum of History. (include 與 and so on 不能合用)

 ※在學發音的時候應該有發現q幾乎都和u一起出現吧，也許是打字漏了，

情緒形容詞
exciting 與 excited 分別是由現在分詞(V-ing)，和由過去分詞(V-ed)構成的不同形容詞，情緒形容詞多半有這兩種形式，如:

I am bored.我覺得無聊

The party is boring.宴會很無聊

千萬別說 I am boring.除非你是個無聊的人

原句：

I'm reaaaally exciting, yet, feel a butterfly in my stomach.

修改後： I was reaaaally excited, yet felt a butterfly in my stomach.
